Why does loyalBe need to connect to my bank account?
We connect to your bank account using industry standard Open Banking APIs. We never see or store your bank login credentials.
We then use your transactional data to reward your with points seamlessly, so you don't have to carry multiple loyalty cards or scan codes.
What information does loyalBe see from my linked account?
We only see your transactional data. We never see your account balance and cannot make any payments.
What is Open Banking?
Open Banking is the secure way to give authorised third parties access to your financial information, without giving out your bank login details. You can read more about it on Money Saving Expert and on Open Banking.
Will you have my bank login credentials?
No, we will never ask you for your bank login credentials. We use Open Banking to securely connect to your account.
Are you authorised by the FCA?
Yes, loyalBe is fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our FCA reference number is 829479. You can find us on the FCA register (https://register.fca.org.uk/).
Do you have any other security credentials?
Yes, loyalBe has obtained the Cyber Essentials tier 1 certification, after passing the relevent assessment. We also undergo regular penetration tests by third party security firms.
